Welcome to the new Thales Digital Identity & Security blog

Last updated: 14 May 2020

We’re delighted to announce our new look! Even though it has a new name, our blog will continue to bring you commentary and insights into the cutting-edge technology shaping the future of digital transformation, identity management, payment, connectivity and security.

The acquisition of Gemalto by Thales last year created a world-class leader with an unrivalled portfolio of digital identity and security solutions. As part of the completion of this, we’re saying goodbye to the Gemalto company brand and giving the blog a fresh new look and name.

We’ll continue to delve into the technology that is helping businesses redefine the world around them. Whether that’s tips on how to master IoT connectivity, the very latest developments in payment security or the role of biometrics in creating fairer electoral systems around the world, our hope is that this content provides a useful touchpoint for all aspects of digital identity and security.

We’ll also continue bringing you new content on connectivity, banking, government, IoT, mobile, maximising the value of your software and digital security every week – and of course, you can still browse through our extensive archives of articles here too.

We’ve also changed where you can find us on Twitter. Please follow us at the links below:

  1. Hope that we soon see an upscaling of biometric cards which I believe will provide increased security and flexibility for payments and at the same time, also the mish touch on POS terminals. Now you are lucky enough to have a world-leading biometrics company under you and would be fun and see a solution from you of their IRIS security. You have the future towards a smoother and safer world.
