IoT World Recap: It’s all about teamwork

Last updated: 17 May 2016

Last week’s IoT World brought hundreds of Fortune 500 companies and one-man startups together from around the world to discuss how to create a secure, connected environment that brings value to the consumer and new business opportunities to enterprises.

Huge announcements were made, revolutionary products unveiled, and innovation bounced from booth to booth like a jolt of electricity.

But one major lesson was learned, and HP’s Director of IoT said it best:

“IoT is massive; no one vendor can do it all.”

Fortunately, we brought three partners along with us to demonstrate just how well equipped we are to do it all.

  • Briowireless’ family of interchangeable BitPipe modules enable connectivity no matter where you are, no matter what type of network you’re using.
  • West Safety Services provides the critical link the private and public safety sectors with technology and communication to improve emergency response.
  • The Morey’s Corporation’s wireless IoT solutions are built to thrive on the edge, supporting the security and connectivity needs of platforms across the entire IoT spectrum.

And Gemalto is the one-stop shop for combining connectivity, security and monetization into an end-to-end IoT offering.

The conclusion stands: no one can do IoT alone. We just happen to have one hell of a team.
