Readers will have seen our previous blog posts on LTE (NTT Docomo starts the LTE race in Japan and 4G on fast track to success in the USA) and we’re delighted to share the news that our work has been accredited with not one but two award nominations. The upcoming Informa LTE Awards, to be held in Amsterdam on 17th May, have recognised our contribution to commercial LTE deployments and our innovation in the development of this technology.
The categories we have been nominated in include ‘Best contribution to LTE Standards’ with our colleague Patrice Beaudou leading the field, and ‘Best enabling technology’ for our LTE UICC card with Full-IP OTA platform. The full shortlist shows which other companies we’re up against.
It’s great to see our innovation, commercial success stories and reliability in delivering LTE projects being recognised and fingers crossed for some wins on the awards night itself.
We’ll be at the LTE World Summit in Amsterdam (stand number 27) from 17th – 18th May and the award wins will be tweeted live on the night by @LTEWorldSeries and ourselves. Follow this hashtag to find out #lteworldseries. We’ll let you know how we get on.
