Last updated: 06 May 2019

We are excited to announce that the Thales Cipher Partner Program has been named to CRN’s 2019 Mobility 100 list in the Mobile Security and Device Management category. This is the first year Gemalto has been listed in the Mobility 100. This list recognized the top technology suppliers bringing to market innovative mobile products and services.

“As flexible work environments continue to evolve, equipping a mobile workforce with reliable, secure connections is of utmost importance,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “The vendors on CRN’s 2019 Mobility 100 list have developed innovative services and solutions that allow companies the freedom of mobility while protecting against outside threats.”

The Mobility 100 list is selected by a panel of CRN editors to help solution providers more easily navigate the mobile landscape and identify the vendor offerings that best fit their customer’s needs. To aid in selection, the list is divided into four categories: Mobile Hardware, Mobile Security and Device Management, Mobile Software and Services, and Mobile App Development Platforms.

Mobile products and services are now fully integrated into the ecosystem of everyday business life. A company’s success depends on its ability to maintain a consistent yet fluid presence across the wide range of portable devices and networks on which both customers and employees rely daily. It’s also critical that companies are able to properly secure these devices and networks, protecting the constant streams of data flowing through them.

Thales’ SafeNet Identity and Data Protection solutions enable enterprises across many verticals, including major financial institutions and governments, to take a data-centric approach to security by utilizing innovative encryption methods, best-in-class crypto management techniques, and strong authentication and identity management solutions to protect what matters, where it matters.

When it comes to mobility with security, SafeNet Trusted Access and SafeNet MobilePASS+ offer secure access, single sign on and strong authentication using OTP and out-of-band push authentication. A simple, strong authentication method, MobilePASS+ lets users authenticate with a single tap of a button and eliminates the need to manually generate an OTP passcode on a mobile device or manually enter an OTP passcode into a protected resource. SafeNet Trusted Access with MobilePASS+ offers password-less secure access and single sign on frictionless authentication that is easy to configure, deploy, and manage.

Through IDaaS solutions like SafeNet Trusted Access and MobilePASS+, Thales helps organizations achieve compliance with stringent data privacy regulations and ensure that sensitive corporate assets, customer information, and digital transactions are safe from exposure and manipulation in order to protect customer trust in an increasingly digital world.

“With the rapid development and adoption of cloud services, many organizations are struggling to balance their digital transformation projects with the need to keep themselves secure,” said Francois Lasnier, identity and access management vice president for cloud protection and licensing activities at Thales. “Organizations that are using high assurance PKI authentication or other methods, such as Push OTP, can use our access management service – SafeNet Trusted Access – to ensure that the employees can access a range of enterprise resources easily and securely. Our solution enables companies to prevent data breaches and scale securely in the cloud by applying the appropriate access policy for the right resource at the right time. ”
