Gemalto is also showcasing its latest innovation in Personal Smart Shopper; a solution which will offer consumers an end-to-end shopping assistant (before, during and after their shopping trip). Prior to shopping they can produce personalized lists, then during their shopping trip retailers can target them with personalized coupons. At the same time, shoppers simply self-scan their own items with their phone as they pick them up and then check-out by tapping their phone on the way out.
